As one of the oldest pubs in Whitby, The Black Horse has a varied history. A pub since the 16th century, it has also been used as a funeral directors, spirit warehouse, and brothel.
The selection and quality of the real ales has given The Black Horse CAMERA recognition and Cask Marque accreditation.
